Full analysis runs automatically
Argus Relay runs the same pipeline as the web scanner at Standard depth: parsing headers and authentication, look-alike and DNS policy checks, scanning the main link with urlscan.io, checking domains against VirusTotal and Google Safe Browsing, and reasoning over every signal with Claude Sonnet. There's no depth picker over email, so if you want a Light or Ultra scan, use the web scanner.
Verdict arrives in about a minute
You'll receive a reply with a full verdict (Safe, Suspicious, or Phishing), along with a plain-language summary, key findings, and the same threat intelligence breakdown as the web scanner. Timing depends on how long the link sandbox takes and where your email lands in our polling cycle, so it's usually well under a minute but can stretch longer.
Best results
Apple Mail and Outlook attach the original email intact. Gmail inline forwards lose some header information but content and link analysis still runs fully.
Rate limit
3 scans per day per sender address. Resets at midnight UTC.
Privacy
Your forwarded email is deleted from our mailbox immediately after processing. Your address is hashed for rate limiting. The original is not retained.
